A few of my favorite pins:

Hiiiiiiiilarious!  Wish we'd thought of this.  Just another reason to renew our vows. :)

You must know how I love anything involving profanity.

This is awesome.  I'd make it into a family tree by adding my favorite photos of everyone in birth order.  I think it'd be really great in a nursery or even a "big" kid's room.
Baby Pig Booties

I love love love pigs.  I used to be obsessed, so I guess I've improved.  Honestly though, how does this not melt the hearts of everyone who sees it?

I am SO doing this.
easily cut a glass bottle in half

I have no use in mind for the bottom halves of glass bottles.  However, now that I know how to "cut" them, I'm going to.  I'll figure out the rest later; even if they just become candle holders.

I love how comfortable this look seems.  I'll be wearing my own version of it soon (if the weather cooperates).

My definition of "few" is probably different from everyone else's.  Oh well.  :)
I'll be in class for the majority of the afternoon and evening.  I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.  I just have to get through a test in which I'll draw a map of America from the 18th century, then I'm off to Berlin.  I'm really excited to visit my grandparents; especially because I enjoy taking photos of them and I have a new cammmmera!  :-D  And I'll be seeing my cousin and her baby; the memory cards will be bursting.

Things that made me smile this week

Amy's blog, A is for Ampersand, especially this part "Also, let me just tell you about this lady at the gym. I know gyms are typically strange places, but there's this lady that's always on the elliptical FULL ON DANCING. Not even dancing--like hippie dancing, arms in the air, eyes closed, smiling from ear to ear, swaying, getting low type stuff. ON THE ELLIPTICAL. She does this every morning. I mostly think she's crazy, but I have to commend her for her bravery. She's pretty awesome."

My tights came!  Modcloth ran out, so I had to ebay it and they arrived safely from the UK today.  :-D

Kaylah's and Elycia's cheerful nails.

I got a ton of cool stuff while thrifting with my mom yesterday.  All of the projects will be up later in the week (hopefully).

Remy wore bunny ears.  She didn't like it, but she did it.

Liz and I had a real picnic and she talked me through a few photography things.  Then we got to play.  Oh, and I'm getting a new camera body (20D) which makes me smile SO MUCH.

Well, okay, I wasn't smiling then, but only because I didn't know the awesome news yet.

There was a whole lot more that made me smile, I just can't document everything.  Now that I'm thinking about it, it seems unfortunate.  Maybe if I could, it wouldn't seem like the years fly by quite so quickly.

Thoughts on books I've read recently #4

Benjamin Franklin's Autobiography (New Edition) (Norton Critical Editions)
I didn't realize that I had no idea who he really was until I read this book.  I didn't choose it, of course, I read it for my history class.  But you really think you know a person, and then...everything shatters.  While he was obsessed with morality and quite kind in not patenting any of his useful inventions, he was kind of a shitty husband.  He was gone for years at a time (his wife died while he was still out of the country) and was a total perv, even into his seventies.  While the actual writing could use some sprucing up, it's worth taking a look at.  It kind of makes me wish I had time to read about some other men our country holds on pedestals.

Now that the sun is shining and it's warmer outside, my ambition has returned.  I have spring break from school next week and I plan to get ahead on this blog.  Some things you can look forward to seeing include Remy, outfit posts...perhaps an outfit post of Remy, a little book review on Night Road by Kristin Hannah, and some new crafty stuff I've been working on.  Pinterest is my favorite way to avoid legitimate To Do lists.
